Jump to Arrowhead Equipment Wish List Volunteer Needs We are looking for people to volunteer at Arrowhead. Volunteering at Arrowhead is very rewarding and you also get some nice perks. The list may be long but not all are necessary for the day to day operation of the area but are a big help in reducing the stress of our core group and allow them to focus on the core operation and be able to sit back and enjoy the great service we provide to the Region. The extra professional help will assist in expanding operations at the area physically, number of operating days open, and increased services Ski Operations General Job Discretions Q. What is a work session A. A work session is scheduled times to meet to perform work on the hill generally during the off season. Task such as mowing, painting and lift maintained are done.
The following is a list of items that we are looking for or getting ready to purchase. Tool Cabinet for our grooming and hill maintenance equipment Gas operated pole saws looking for one with a one that is 4-6' long Gas Powered Snow Blower Gas Powered push mower Office Type copier machine
Operation Related Volunteer Positions Instructors: Need a pool of ski and snowboard instructors to help with the learn to ski/snowboard program and to be available at various times for small group or private lessons. First Aid People: All that is required is basic First Aid certification. We need at minimum of one person on site in order to operate. You don't need to be a skier or boarder just be on site. Lift Operators and Attendants: Need lift operators and lift and tubing area attendants. You will have to attend a two hour training session to learn about the lift and procedures. With tubing expanding we need at least 4 people in the tubing area when in operation. So we need a good size pool of people to run the tubing operation and of coarse you'll get to tube for free. Ski Shop: Work in the rental shop fitting and adjusting rental equipment. We will give you training to become Marker and Rossignol Binding certified, you even get a certificate with your name on it. Concessions: Looking for people to work concessions, this can get busy at times so the more the better. General Help: Always looking for people to help within the club in professional capacities or just in general. Organization, planning and public relations Maintenance - inside and outside Professional consultations and assistance - electrical, mechanical and site planning Grant research and grant writing
